It is well known that Thala Ajith is a popular star in Indian Cinema. He is fresh from the success of Viswasam, directed by Siva, that is having a dream run at the theatres. It has already completed a 50-day run, and is a blockbuster at the box office.
He will next be seen in Nerkonda Paarvai, the official Tamil remake of the film Pink, that had Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee in the lead roles. Nerkonda Paarvai will have Ajith as the lead, while Shraddha Srinath, Andrea Tariang, Vidya Balan, Adhik Ravichandran and others will play crucial supporting roles. The music is by Yuvan Shankar Raja and the project will be helmed by H Vinoth of Sathuranga Vettai and Theeran Adhigaram Ondru fame.
Now, legendary playback singer SP Balasubrahmanyam has revealed that he was the one who introduced Ajith to the a producer, following which Thala made his debut.
In a recent Television show, SPB said: "Ajith and my son Charan are classmates. They used to write their matric exams in Andhra. When Ajith went to advertisement shoots, he used to wear Charan's shoes and clothes because of a sentimental reason.
You know something? Ajith first acted in a Telugu film, and I was the one who introduced him to that producer. The thing I like the most about Ajith is that, he has stopped appearing on Television shows, or giving interviews to newspapers and magazines, or posting something on social media that creates a furore. He is only concentrating on films, and his family."
