Vijay Sethupathi, who has recently starred in Superstar's Petta, is currently shooting for the film Maamanithan by Seenu Ramasamy. The movie is produced by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Ilayaraja and Yuvan Shankar Raja are composing the music for the film.
It was earlier reported that the actor would be working in a movie directed by S.P.Jananathan of Iyarkai and Peranmai fame. Sources now reveal that Shruti Haasan has been paired opposite to Vijay Sethupathi in this movie. Singam 3 was her last film in Tamil that was released in 2017.
It must be noted Vijay Sethupathi is starring in another upcoming Tamil film Sindhubaadh directed by S.U.Arun Kumar of Sethupathi and Panniyarum Padminiyum fame. Again, Yuvan Shankar Raja is the music director of the film that also stars Anjali and others. Vijay Chander of Vaalu and Sketch fame is also set to direct Vijay Sethupathi in his next untitled project which has Raashi Khanna as the lead actress.
Vijay Sethupathi has already worked with S.P.Jananathan in Purampokku Engira Podhuvudamai in which his performance was appreciated very much. Hence there can be something interesting expected from the duo.
