We had earlier reported that Nithin Sathya's maiden production venture would be starring his close friend and Chennai 28 mate Jai in the lead role.
 

Now, the official announcement regarding the film and its title have come out. The film, which is directed by Pichumani, has been titled as 'Jarugandi'. Starring Jai, and Jacobinte Swargarajyam fame Reba Monica John in lead roles, the film also has names like Robo Shankar, Danny, Ilavarasu, Mime Gopi and others in its cast sheet.

Bobo Shashi, K.L.Praveen, and Remiyan would be taking care of the music, editing and art departments respectively.
