This Pongal saw 2 biggies release on the same day - Rajinikanth's Petta and Thala Ajith's Viswasam. Both the films are doing really well at the box office, and have got positive reviews almost everywhere.
When Behindwoods got in touch with Senbagamoorthy from Red Giant Movies, who distributed Petta in Chennai City, North Arcot, South Arcot, Chengalpet, Salem and Madurai, spoke about the performance of the movie in TN as well as abroad.
When asked about which film is performing better among both, he said: "Both films are actually doing quite well. Petta is an all class film, and the result would be in favour of the Rajini film. Worldwide, Rajini's Petta will do well."
He also spoke in detail about how he became a distributor and why Sun Pictures chose to release the film on the same date as Viswasam. Watch the full interview below:
