Indian was a film directed by Shankar that had Kamal Haasan in dual roles - Senapathy and son Chandru. It is considered as a cult film, and one of the pillars of it's success was the music director AR Rahman.
Recently, a sequel to the above mentioned film, Indian 2 was announced, retaining the lead actor as Senapathy. The internet is abuzz right now, as the team released the film's posters for the past 3 days.
The film went on floors today, and wishes poured in from all sides. 1 wish that stood out was from AR Rahman, who is not a part of the sequel. He tweeted: "Wishing you and your team for yet another block buster ! Good luck buddy 🌹"
This is indeed a warm gesture by the oscar winner. Indian 2 has music by Anirudh Ravichander and cinematography by Ravi Varman. Stay tuned for more updates on the film.
