Kesari is an upcoming Hindi film starring Akshay Kumar, Parineeti Chopra directed by Anurag Singh and produced by Dharma Productions, Cape of Good Films, Azure Entertainment and Zee Studios.
The film is about a soldier Havildar Ishar Singh who fought alongside 20 other Sikh soldiers against 10000 Afghans in the Battle of Saragarhi. Considered as one of the most important historical moments in Indian history, it is often termed the bravest battle ever fought.
This historical incident is adapted to screen by Girish Kohli and Anurag Singh. Anshul Chobey is the cinematographer of this war film and Manish More is the editor. The makers have released the trailer of the film today.
