BOX-OFFICE - MAARI CROSSES THE MAGICAL 25 CRORES MARK

With Dhanush's Maari widely being talked about as a grand opener for the team, we at Behindwoods have the opening weekend figures of the film. From Chennai city, Maari is estimated to have grossed around 1.21 crores while the total TN gross after the first 3 days is said to be close to 13 crores. Maari is also tax-free.
Adding on the overseas figures (close to 9.5 crores gross) and the gross from markets like Kerala and Karnataka, the worldwide opening weekend gross of Maari is said to have crossed the magical 25 crores mark.
We have to see how the film sustains but the beginning has been solid. Congrats to the team.
