Billa makers take up Mohanlal’s super hit
Jan 23, 2014 Suresh Balaji, who produced Rajini's Billa, Ajith's Kireedam among many other films, is set to begin his next project. He has come forward to produce the Tamil remake of the recent Malayalam blockbuster, Drishyam. Directed by Jeethu Joseph, the Malayalam movie features Mohanlal and Meena in the lead.
Actor Vikram recently expressed his interest in doing the movie. It’d be interesting to see the actor and Suresh Balaji coming together.
Meanwhile, Suresh Balaji is also the executive producer of Sri Priya’s Malini 22 Palayamkottai. This remake of the Malayalam movie, 22 Female Kottayam, is releasing tomorrow, 24th January 2014. Starring Nithya Menen in the lead, the movie has music by Aravind-Shankar and cinematography by Manoj Pillai.
