Kayal will be an out-and-out love story

Prabhu Solomon's second innings, post Mynaa, has always been about hard-hitting movies, with heavy climaxes. That reputation, along with the shots of tsunami, from the trailer of his Christmas release Kayal, had the audience assuming that the movie will be a dark affair, following the likes of Mynaa and Kumki.

 

According to sources close to the team, tsunami just comes in the climax, otherwise, Kayal will be an out-and-out love story between the lead pair.

 

But, the trailer had a shot of the hero's outcry - 'Kayal...' - getting drowned in the wreckage that surrounds him. And, with what looks like post-tsunami scenes, how Kayal will turn out to be is something we have to wait and see.
