Promising young music composer passes away
Dec 15, 2014Forty year old Chakri aka Chakradhar Gilla, passed away this morning unexpectedly. This director / musician did not wake up in the morning from his slumber and it was too late to rush him to the hospital. He was declared dead in Apollo Hospitals at 7:45 am. He was reportedly suffering from obesity and other ailments.
Chakri has composed music for about 85 films. He started his career with Bachi directed by Puri Jagannadh and had many successful films post his debut. A singer - composer, Chakri was one of the most sought after people from the Tollywood industry. This multi-talented person has introduced a lot of upcoming singers and lyricists through his films.
From Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao to Rajya Sabha Member K.Chiranjeevi and director Sashi Preetam, many across Andhra and Telangana passed on their condolences.
