Siddharth discovers Ugly Truths

Siddharth will start shooting for the much-expected Lucia after he completes Vasantha Balan’s  Kaaviya Thalaivan. The actor tweeted that both the roles – in Kaaviya Thalaivan and Lucia – will be ‘content rich, author backed roles.’

While Kaaviya Thalaivan is a historical fiction, Lucia is a remake of the crowd-funded Kannada film by the same name. The original had the protagonist playing two roles as an actor and an impoverished usher in a theatre. Siddharth, to lend authenticity to his character in Lucia, spent a day in slums and researched their activities. Regarding the experience, he said, “ugly truths, but very informative.”
