Rahman's sister composes for a cause
Jun 13, 2013 The Mozart of Madras, A.R.Rahman has been constantly striving to use his popularity and skill for the sake of world peace and harmony and his sister A.R. Raihanah will be fighting for the cause of environmental awareness.
As the brand ambassador of Raindropss, Raihanah will be composing a track to highlight the importance of the preservation of the environment. The track ‘Ithu Namma Bhoomi’ is written by Raihanah and Thava. Leading playback singers Tipu, Harini, Kaushik, Yasin Nizar, Abhay Jodhpurkar, Deepika Theagarajan, UK Murali, Georgina and Sai Bharath will join A.R.Raihanah for the song. The video will be directed by Naveen Kumar and the concept and creatives are by Aravind, Founder of Raindropss.
The track will be screened and launched at a big event that will pay host to many celebrities and environmentalists.
