Ever since the spectacular debut of Karthik Subbaraj, coupled with the emergence of Vijay Sethupathi, a lot is being expected from The Villa, the second edition of the Pizza franchise. While the makers have announced that this film will begin from a particular point in the first movie, nothing more has been disclosed. Talking to Behindwoods the director of the film, Deepan Chakravarthy, says that the teaser will be a perfect indicator of what to expect and will reveal everything.

The teaser of Pizza 2 – The Villa is slated to be unveiled on Friday, June 14^th. The film stars Ashok Selvan and Sanchita Shetty who both made an impression in the recent hit Soodhu Kavvum. The film is being produced by C.V.Kumar once again and music director Santosh Narayanan returns to compose the tunes.

Interestingly, Pizza was released in the much hyped 7.1 Surround format while Pizza 2 – The Villa goes several notches further by coming out in Dolby Atmos. The team is looking at the month of August as the tentative release date.
