Following the success of Thuppakki it seems likely that Vijay and director A.R. Murugadoss are certain to team up again. While the details of the production, cast and crew seem to be undecided at the moment reports are suggesting that young composer Anirudh has emerged as the front runner for the music director of the project.

Post Ethir Neechal Anirudh has his hands full with several projects and one in particular, Naanum Rowdydan, will also feature him debuting as the hero. The young man is busy putting the final touches to the music of Vanakkam Chennai which he proclaims to be his best work yet. If all the pieces fall in to place Anirudh will be presented with the massive opportunity of scoring for a Vijay film making it possibly his biggest project thus far.
