Shamitabh - A very unique concept with brilliant performers in the lead role.Dhanush and Amitabh Bachchan rocked the show all the way. Both of them proved their potential and have given their heart and soul to their performance. The chemistry between them is simply awesome. Both of them were looking smart and stylish with good costumes. Their screen presence and charisma were one of the major parts in this film. As for Akshara Haasan, she was looking really cute and bubbly. Since this is her debut film, her body language and acting skills were promising. A very good start for her in the film industry.

Next, R.Balki’s storyline line and direction were at top notch. The script was so innovative and unique which was made into a striking film. Definitely an out of the box subject. The story is really good with amazing and catchy dialogues along with good sense of humor. The pace drops a little in the 2nd half, but yet picks up after several moments. Kudos to R.Balki for coming up an amazing film. The cinematography by P.C. Sreeram was top class.

The biggest strength of this film would be none other than music director Ilayaraja. He gave awesome songs all though it may recall his old composition, but yet rocks and not to forget his mind boggling, extraordinary, soulful and splendid background music ever done by him. Hats off to you man!

To make it simple, an unusual plot which is truly a witness of fine cinema.
