Venkat Prabhu has always been a different thinker in the way of not only making movies, but also in selecting a proper tag line for his movies.... He has also chosen a suitable tag line for this venture as "Venkat Prabhu diet"...

As the title card unfolds itself, the director takes us into a whole world of fun that revolves around Karthi and Premji... Just as when the audience are thinking that this film is totally a fun-filled ride, the director leaves the audience with a bang at the interval...

The second half is full of twists and turns...All the scenes are interesting and each scene gives a different opinion as to who the main culprit is... And interestingly, the climax revelation was very good....It was totally unexpected for me... Yuvan's tunes were wery well captured and the BGM was also very good.... Venkat Prabhu's tribute to Ajith  shows the director's admiration towards the actor...

On the whole Briyani is a brilliant comeback for Karthi when compared to his last three outings... Karthi looks smart and plays to his strengths.... Premji also does his part convincingly.... The supporting cast includes Naser, Ramki ,Subbu and many others who as usual give their best...The cinematography was very good, specially in the action sequences....

Finally Briyani is a well cooked tasty dish, that fills the stomach of it's

customers who were on a diet for a very long time....
