The
rat race to the top between heroines during
their tremulous career is not new to Kodambakkam.
On that note, Trisha seems to be possessive
about someone else ruling the silver screens
of her mother tongue when she is still
in the scene alive and kicking. Although
she is busy in Telugu, she is not really
happy with the fact that her presence
in Tamil movies are almost non-existent,
save for Kireedam which is yet to kick
off and Beema, which is in production
for a long time.
When
she percolated to Telugu after tasting
success with a few movies, Asin took
over her in the race and started grabbing
the projects that came along. However,
Asin was on a sabbatical for 6 months
turning down the mediocre offers and
waiting patiently for the jackpot.
Eventually, her patience paid off
and she is working in prestigious
projects opposite Kamal, Ajith, and
Vijay and is shuttling between the
sets of Dasavatharam, Kireedam, and
Pokkiri.
This on the other hand had made heads
turn including that of Trisha’s
who seems to be taking serious measures
to regain her glory.
She
is reportedly reviving her friendship
with top heroes and collecting details
on their schedules only to corner the
producers and directors to talk them into
roping her for the upcoming movies. Her
bagging the contract of Kireedam is as
a result of her efforts to make a comeback,
it is assumed. If you may remember, she
had slashed her rates just to be starred
in Kireedam opposite Ajith. It will be
interesting to see healthy competition
though, what say?
