Remember the cold blood murder of director Selva that shook Kodambakkam for a while? For the less informed, Selva - a budding director - was found strangled to death in his Vadapalani apartment recently. Said to be directing the movie Kathoram Poi Sollu, Selva was trying his luck hard in Kodambakkam.

Mystery of his murder unfurled when police - after obtaining vital clues - tracked down small time actress Sangeetha for the murder. Sangeetha confessed the killing and stated that Selva's constant sexual abuse led her take that extreme step. Further investigations are on in this regard.
However, Kodambakkam was in the sate of confusion now taking into consideration that there is yet another director by the same name. Selva is busy directing the Jeevan starrer Naan Avanillai, but his phone is off the hook these days. Enquiries from the confused lot seem to be pouring in for the director who is perplexed on the entire confusion.
Besides, rumors are doing rounds that Selva was an assistant with T. Rajendar before he was killed. However, Rajendar denied the reports and stated that he did not know anyone by that name.
