AR Rahman can now afford to relax. He has just
completed the Lord of the Rings concert in Toronto,
Canada. In fact, Rahman is such a strong favourite
that the concert raked in more than Rs. 1.5
crores as advance booking. The musical extravaganza
directed by Matthew Warchus is a stage adaptation
of JRR Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings trilogy.
Held on March 23rd at Toronto, on a whopping
budget of $2.7 million, the concert drew huge
crowds, though some say Rahman failed to impress.
Unfazed by naysayers, Rahman is one man who
always believes in raising the bar.
