Having this in mind, the famous music director Bharadwaj,
with his vast experience and sound knowledge, has decided
to bring academic recognition to light music. This resulted
in the setting up of the Bharadwaj School of Music.
The Bharadwaj School of Music launches a one-year Diploma
in Applied Music (Vocal) recognized by the Tamil Nadu
Open University. The highlight of the course is that it
is a career-focused, structured course in Light music
using latest multimedia technologies and also offers distance
education and Sunday classes for working professionals.
The course will be offered at Chennai, Coimbatore, Erode,
Salem, Trichy, Thanjavur, Tirunelveli and Madurai, commencing
September, 2007.
Thanks to the Bharadwaj School of Music, scores of talented
youngsters can now acquire skills to make it big in the
