Big
Brother show of Channel 4 was the
cynosure of world media whole of last
week. It has incited many debates,
opinion polls, editorials across the
world. This show had sparked off a
chain of events which reverberated
even at parliaments of different nations.
Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty was
at the receiving end from a fellow
mate at the show called Jade Goody.
‘Big
Brother’ row had calmed down after Jade
was evicted from the show by viewer’s votes.
For the less informed ones, Shilpa has also featured
in a few Tamil movies like Mr. Romeo, Kushi etc.
Now, this event which had attracted a mammoth
publicity has instigated a Bollywood director
to produce a film on this subject. Director Shashilal
Nair, who is also a good friend of Shilpa Shetty,
has allegedly discussed this with Shilpa’s
mother and also Jade Goody’s agent. They
have apparently agreed and discussions are currently
going on. According to Shashilal Nair, he plans
to make this film in a comedy genre. The details
of the cast are yet to be finalized.
