The pin-up boy of Bollywood will be present when some of the world’s biggest stars will be receiving awards. John however has remained very modest by giving all the credit to director Deepa Mehta and the rest of the cast. Even if Water is awarded the Oscar in the best foreign film category it is unlikely that John will walk onto stage to receive the statuette, the producers will be taking the honors. However, this is undeniably an opportunity for John to be seen on the global stage. Let us hope that John comes back with laurels. It will also be interesting to see how well John comes through as the ambassador of Bollywood.
