Besides that music by Yuvan Shankar Raja has been
the talk of the town. At this juncture, the mystery
shrouding the release of this film is slowly being
spilled.
The film commenced with production from Surya's
cousin Gnanavelrajan. After a while, notwithstanding
the increase in the budget of the film, Gnanavelrajan
backed out wherein Ameer came to the rescue and
completed it. Five crores is the amount set by
Ameer for Paruthi Veeran. Unfortunately, there
are no takers for this film at this price as Karthi
being a newcomer to the industry. Hence the movie
could not hit the screens on the said date. Meanwhile
after watching the preview of the film, Karthi's
father Sivakumar has made arrangements to buy
the film but only for 3 crores. Although Ameer
did not agree to this price initially, intervention
from influential quarters in the film industry
has forced him to sell the film for 3 crores thereby
incurring a loss of 2 crores. According to Kollywood
sources, the movie has been bought by none other
than Gnanavelrajan. |
