Eklavya:
the royal guard with Amitabh Bachchan in the title
role and a galaxy of other stars will decide whether
Vidhu Vinodh Chopra’s luck as a producer
continues in his directorial venture too. The
movie includes Saif Ali Khan and the now VVC favorite
Vidya Balan apart from other VVC regulars like
Sanjay Dutt and Jackie Shroff. Chopra’s
last directorial venture had been the Hrithik
Roshan starrer Mission Kashmir which had not lived
up to all its hype.
Eklavya had been kept low key for quite a while
but the media has hyped it up and a few preview
shows later, the expectations from the movie are
big. The movie is reportedly in the action genre
set in the deserts of Rajasthan and the biggest
surprise is that the movie is just about 2 hours
long. Talk of contrast; Salaam-e-Ishq with a 4hour
length disappointed; let us hope that this 2 hour
action flick delights. |
