producers of Something Something Unakkum Enakkum
wanted to hire a well-known name to play brother
to Trisha but, to their disappointment, none came
forward. Finally they hooked Prabhu for the role.
It was money and not the role that tempted Prabhu.
For the role of Jeyam Ravi’s father, they
booked Bhagyaraj with the same difficulty. On
the very first day of shooting Bhagyaraj was vexed:
the scene demanded Trisha upbraiding him. He wanted
to sign off but was cajoled to stay back. |
