The man behind Kamal's success

Kamal
You will not know him but he is T N Subramanian, Kamal Hassan's ex-manager. When he retired recently, Kamal paid him a service gratuity of rupees ten lakhs and wished him all the best for a retired life. Speaking about Subramanian, Ilayaraja said: "Kamal may be an atheist but, Lord Muraga's grace has always been plenty on him. In his debut movie Kalathur Kannama itself, Kamal sung Muruga Muruga. Also God helped him through his manager Subramanian. Subramanian is another name for Muruga." Subramanian is a meticulous and hard-working man and he has been of immense help to the versatile artiste. When Ilayaraja said thus, Kamal did give an acknowledging smile.
