Kamal
has always had a fancy for the NYPD (The New York
Police Department) cars. He loves those police
car-chasing scenes in Hollywood flicks. So, when
he was in NewYork recently, shooting for Vettaiyaadu
Vilaiyaadu, he wanted a NYPD car chase scene.
With some difficulty he obtained permission to
use the department's cars. Initially the department
feared that the actor may not be able to handle
himself behind the wheel and they insisted that
their own driver would be behind the wheel. However,
when Kamal vroomed during the test drive, they
were amazed at his driving skills. So, we have
Kamal driving NYPD car throughout the chase sequence. |
