Though
Nayantara belongs to God’s own
country and started her career in
Mollywood, her subsequent success
in Tamil and Telugu films led her
to shift her head quarters to these
states. Since she was too busy in
Andhra and Tamil Nadu and was focusing
all her attention there, she was not
able to concentrate in her mother
tongue Malayalam.

recent Telugu film ‘Lakshmi’ with
Venkatesh created a ripple in the industry with
its emphatic success. Following this, this film
is dubbed into Malayalam and released in Kerala
where it was declared a great hit. Now the industry
sources feel that the time is ripe for Nayantara
to rule Mollywood also. This hit has elevated
her to the status of top heroines in Malayalam
films.
