Vivek
has shown his raise-your-voice-for-a-social-cause
side recently in a gathering in
Theni. Vivek was present in the
Vairamuthu’s birthday function
held in Theni and expressed concern
that Tamil movie songs are filled
with filth and pose danger to the
morals of the Tamil society.
He further attributed the reason
for this to the lyricists and quoted
‘Vadumanga Oorudhungo’
from the movie Sivakasi and stated
that the lyrics of that song are
obscene and should have been avoided.
He requested Perarasu, who penned
lyrics for this song, to avoid such
lyrics in the future.
