| It’s
official! Surya to wed Jyothika on Sep
11!! |

Tamil
viewers have been expecting this—but
ladies’ hearts are breaking the world
over. Finally, official word about Surya
and Jyothika’s marriage is out. Sivakumar,
after much contemplation (or so we assume),
announced that his eldest son, Surya, and
the Bollywood ‘Kushi’ girl,
Jyothika, are finally tying the knot.

Surya
and Jyothika will get married in
Ramanathan Chettiyar Hall in Santhome
on September 11, 2006 in the presence
of a select list of invited guests,
industry VIPs, and society-types
from all other walks of life. Chettiyar
Hall is famous for hosting celeb
wedding ceremonies like that of
Dhanush and Aishwarya, as well as
Ilayaraja’s daughter Bhavadharani.
The press note states that Surya,
the eldest son of Shivakumar, and
Jyothika, the daughter of Mrs &
Mr Chander Sadanah, will get married
in an auspicious ceremony on 11/09/06.

is widely known that Sivakumar has not been
very happy with his son’s much talked-about
affair with Jyothika — but Surya kept
his cool and waited for his father’s
consent. Sivakumar seems to have advised
Surya to postpone his own nuptials until
his younger sister’s marriage was
over. All’s well that ends well. |
