It is not rare for actresses to be media shy and recluse, but Gopika seems to be far more conservative than the average Kollywood heroine. While it is common for any one parent to accompany an actress on the sets, Gopika brings both her parents in tow. She insists on both of her parents being present at the location of any shooting. Her father is in a bit of a dilemma with his daughter’s insistence because he has a restaurant of his own to manage back home in Kerala. But he is not able to find enough time to run his business properly. Gopika also shies away from being contacted directly.
