He said that he respected and liked Vijay, Surya, Vikram
and other big names in the field, but he reserved the
best for Ultimate Star Ajith.
Simbu said that he really admired Ajith for what he was.
He said that the kind of following that Ajith had and
the kind of opening that his films commanded were really
awesome. Despite a slew of flops over the past few years
there has been no dip in the opening collections of his
films, what happens later is a different issue.
Simbu also made some very pleasant remarks about Ajith
the person. He said that he admired the straightforward
nature of Ajith very much. He always speaks from his
heart and never intends to mean anything more than he
has said.
So Simbu’s admiration of Ajith is not surprising.
After all, as Simbu himself has pointed out, Ajith is
a person who is very straightforward. Now that is very
similar to Simbu’s character. Will this admiration
grow to be mutual and will Simbu and Ajith become good
friends, let’s hope so.
