Kareena Kapoor will
play the role essayed by Asin in Kaavalan.
The film, which was originally made in Malayalam,
had Nayanthara playing the female lead.
Asin was roped in by director Siddique for
the Tamil version, which has Vijay playing
the male protagonist.
There were reports earlier that Katrina
Kaif would be the leading lady, but it
has now been revealed that Kareena Kapoor
may don the greasepaint instead. The Hindi
version will have Salman Khan playing
the hero.
Producer, Atul Agnihotri, intends to
screen the original version for Kareena
so that she could decide on the project,
it has been revealed.
