Ajith recently had a
chance meeting with the AIADMK Supremo J
Jayalalitha at the wedding reception hosted
by Saidai Duraisamy. The actor along with
his wife Shalini sought the blessings of
Jayalalitha and this has raised the eyebrows
of many in the DMK and AIADMK circles.
Ajith, however, clarified that when he
met Jayalalitha on the dais, he and Shalini
sought her blessings and there was nothing
political to it. He added that Saidai
Duraisamy is doing yeoman service to the
society and is close friend of his, which
was why he was there at the reception.
It may be recalled that Ajith has been
signed up by Cloud Nine Movies, a production
house owned by the DMK honchos. The DMK
circle is wondering about Ajith’s motive
and is closely watching his political
moves.
Meanwhile, Jayalalitha also met Vijay
while she was making her exit. She summoned
him to her car and enquired his well being,
we hear.
