Director Kannan of Kandein Kadhalai
says that the original Hindi version
– Jab We Met – did not
have any comedy but his film has
full length comedy by Santhanam.
The director disclosed that the
heroine’s uncle would feature
in just a single scene in JWM but
it has been converted to a full
length role to make the film hilarious.
Kandein Kadhalai’s story is
based in the Theni region in Tamil
Nadu and several festivities and
cultures belonging to that region
have been incorporated in the film
to make it look like a complete
Tamil film and not a remake, he
adds. Kandein Kadhalai stars Bharath
and Tamanna in the lead roles.
