Legendary playback singer TM Soundarajan
lashed out at the new breed of singers
for singing the songs rendered by him
sans feelings or emotions. During his
speech at the Sigarangalin Sangamam, organized
by the P Suseela Trust, he said that such
singing depresses him.
Intervening to pacify TMS, Suseela said
that the present singers respect him a
lot and they do not mean to tarnish the
songs to which he replied that he is well-aware
that some singers are very talented and
wished them all the best.
Singers Balamurali Krishna, LR Easwari,
Chithra, Mano, Unni Menon, Harish Raghavendra
and others participated in this event.
