Lingusamy has given some excellent commercial potboilers and earned a name in the tinsel town as one of the directors to give racy entertainers. His Paiyya, Run and Sandakozhi never had a dull moment and all of them were fast-paced.

So, what about his next bilingual – Vettai? The director says that the Tamil version will have Arya and Madhavan and in the Telugu version Arya will be replaced by Mahesh Babu. And it will be fast-paced as well.

Lingusamy, who has about a decade of experience wielding the megaphone, says that he draws inspiration from Bhagyaraj and Mani Ratnam. He elaborated that he likes Bhagyaraj’s screenplay and Mani’s style of movie-making.
