Thiagarajan Kumararaja, who had penned
the dialogues for the Pushkar-Gayatri
directed Oram Po, is now making his debut
as a director with Aaranya Kaandam. The
film has Bollywood star Jackie Shroff
and Sampath playing important roles.
The director says that when Bollywood
actor Irrfan Khan saw the film he was
impressed and said that he wanted to do
the role played by Sampath should the
director consider remaking the film in
Hindi.
Aaranya Kaandam is produced by SPB Charan.
Yuvan Shankar Raja has scored the music
for this film and P S Vinod has handled
the camera.
