Vijay has gifted 108 milking cows with
calves to deserving people including farmers,
widows and destitute women. The event
took place in Udumalpet, where the actor
distributed the cows, and said that it
would be available for the beneficiaries
right from Diwali. Each of the cow cost
about 25,000 to 30,000 rupees and an entire
team worked hard to procure these 108
cows.
At the function, Vijay was compared to
the legendary King Raja Raja Cholan who
was known for distributing cows to his
subjects to ensure their welfare. Udumalpet
Municipality Chairman said during this
function that Vijay had done something
that even politicians have not done.
The cow donation event was organized by
Vijay Narpani Mandram with the help of
Velayudham’s producer Aascar Ravichandran
and Suresh.
