It is reported that producer AM Rathnam has dubbed the Shankar-directed Boys to Hindi. Popular writer Abbas Tyrewala has been roped in to write the lyrics and dialogues for the Hindi version and a part of the dubbing process is also over.

Boys was released in the year 2003 and the producer’s decision to have it dubbed now is to cash in on Shankar’s popularity which soared high following the release of Endhiran/Robot.

Further, Genelia is also quite a popular star in Bollywood and her presence in the film could pull the crowds to the theatres, the producer felt.
