The news that created headlines in many leading dailies in Tamil Nadu about young Hrithik Jain and Muskan being brutally murdered after being kidnapped for ransom has infuriated the public. Film star Vijay, who was shooting for Kaavalan, has said that when he heard the news about their brutal murders, he was angry at the accused, Mohan, and sought death sentence on the perpetrator of this crime.

Vijay, in a statement, has said that loss suffered by the deceased’s parents is irreparable and only the almighty should give them the strength to cope with it.

The actor also sought capital punishment for such heinous crimes so that innocent lives can be saved.

He added that this message is not an effect of him enjoying the star status or a concerned father but that of crores of people who have been angered by these murders.
