Yogi went into the censor scissors
and escaped mostly unscathed with
a U/A certificate. Which precisely
means the film can largely be viewed
by all sections. “The movie
can be viewed by family audience
and the U/A certification is only
for the violence depicted in it,”
Ameer was quoted as saying.
With this, Yogi is ending months
of speculations about its release
date. The movie has already generated
positive buzz and with no big releases
in sight in the near future, the
lull at the box office could work
in its favor. Yogi was also screened
at the Dubai International Film
Festival.
