Ameer and Seeman in Chennai?

Directors Ameer and Seeman are expected to fly to Chennai to participate at the fast to be held by the Film Employees Federation of South India (FEFSI). The FEFSI has announced that it will conduct a fast to protest the killing of innocent Tamils in Sri Lanka. According to ace director Bharathiraja, the two directors will participate at the event

and prior to that they will be accorded a rousing reception at the Directors’ Council.

It may be recalled that the duo were arrested on charges of making speeches in Rameshwaram that was against the sovereignty of India. Ameer and Seeman were remanded to police custody and were let off on conditional bail later.
