After the success of Goa,
tinsel town was not too clear about Venkat
Prabhu’s next. As is customary, diverse
theories were floating as to what would be
his next. When behindwoods correspondent contacted
Venkat Prabhu, he was in Mumbai and revealed
that story discussions were currently going
on in the commercial capital of India. The
young director also disclosed that Mumbai
will be the backdrop of his next but also
dissuaded us from the idea that it would be
a gangster flick. Venkat may go in with most
of his usual cast members with a few changes
in his next film.
He has plans to exhibit a different Daaravi
in his film. The very mention of Daaravi
brings memories from Mani Ratnam’s
Nayagan. But Venkat was quick to point out
that Daaravi is nothing that we have imagined
so far. The locality has multiplex and other
latest facilities and has evolved over time.
