meet of Chola Creations’ latest
venture, Yathumagi was held today
at the Four Frames Theater. Directed
by R Balakumar, from the Bhagyaraj
stable, the movie has Sachin and
Sunaina playing the lead. Yathumagi
also has Azhagan Tamil Mani who
is cast as Sunaina’s dad in
a meaty role. Director Balakumar
found Sachin, who is an Ad Film
director, to be a perfect match
for the role and hence roped him,
making him an accidental hero.
Shoot schedules of the movie that
were held in Chennai and Kumbakonam
were wrapped up with a few songs
pending which are planned to be
shot abroad. James Vasanthan scores
for Yathumagi, which is his third
movie after the successful Subramaniapuram
and Pasanga. James said that he
was offered 25 movies after the
success of Subramaniyapuram, but
he preferred to accept only movies
with substance.
