The
logo launch of Kalla Kadhalan, a
movie directed by Suresh alias Ramya,
the erstwhile assistant to S A Chandrasekhar
was held at the Satyam Theater today.
Kalla Kadhalan boasts of a storyline
derived from Kamba Ramayana that
is made to fit in the contemporary
scene.
Speaking at the occasion, noted
producer Dhanu expressed hope that
the movie will succeed for its story
and the curiosity-evoking title.
He also mentioned that the title
term is very familiar with today’s
young generation and hence will
work out in favor of the movie.
Another guest, G Sekaran also reflected
Dhanu’s sentiments and stated
that movies like this stand a chance
at the box office. Vishal Hegde
and Priyanka Sha play the lead in
the movie.
