The
IIT Madras will conduct a Workshop “Imaging
Cinema: Emerging Trends in Film making”
from 6-10 May 2010. The inauguration of the
website, which will contain all the details
about the workshop, is due to be held on March
3rd, 2010 at the IITM, in the Central Lecture
Theatre (CLT).
The press release states, “200 seats
are open for those passionate about cinema,
and independent filmmakers, students, along
with professionals in the field of media and
filmmaking. Members of NGOs involved in using
filmmaking as a medium to bring about social
change are encouraged to apply. 20 seats are
allocated for them with full fee waiver.”
The application is priced at Rs. 100 and it
is available online. Registration closes on
March 31st, 2010.
