Yaavarum Nalam exceeds expectations!

Yaavarum Nalam, the film belonging to the horror genre, has turned out to be a surprise winner. The film, which was produced by the Reliance BIG Entertainment Ltd, was released simultaneously in Tamil and Hindi in 82 screens on March 6th. The film has garnered Rs. 148 Lakhs, Rs. 164 Lakhs and Rs. 151 Lakhs during the first, second and third weeks, respectively. The film is still being screened in all the 82 theatres and this could rake up the collections even further.

Mr. Sunir Kheterpal, Chief Operating Officer, BIG Pictures, said, “Yaavarum Nalam has performed stupendously and this highlights the strong run and positive word of mouth the film is carrying. This sets a unique example on how domestic distribution rights of a low budget film with good technicians and storyline can recover majority of the film’s production cost.”
