It
is known that director P. Vasu is
working on a sequel to Aptha Mitra,
which was remade as Chandramukhi in
Tamil. The Tamil version, which had
Rajinikanth, Jyothika and Nayanthara,
went on to become a smash hit. The
director has commenced work on its
sequel in Kannada and has named it
Aptha Ratchaga. Earlier P. Vasu had
planned to sign up Sneha for the leading
role but due to call sheet issues
she could not make it. It now appears
that Sandhya has been signed for the
project and the shooting is currently
on in Pazhani.
