The clash between Vadivelu and
Vijaykanth’s manager Sathish
Kumar is a known fact. It is also
well known that Vadivelu apart from
filing a complaint at the Virugambakkam
Police station has also given media
interviews openly challenging Vijaykanth
in the political front.
Likewise, Sathish Kumar also had
lodged a complaint but no action
was taken in this regard. Based
on this, Sathish had filed a petition,
which was rejected, at the Saidapet
court seeking action against Vadivelu
and 14 others. Following this, Sathish
appealed to the High Court, alleging
that the police are proceeding with
the case filed by Vadivelu against
him.
The appeal was heard by Justice
Jayapal who ordered Vadivelu, Marimuthu
and 14 others to reply on this issue
within two weeks time.
